Kajol Devgan Mukherjee, the black beauty of Indian Cinema and popularly known as Kajol, was born on the 5th August, 1975, in Mumbai, India, is an Indian Actress. Kajol has done her schooling from St. Josephs Convent, Panchgani, Mumbai and started film career at the age of seventeen. Kajol had rich and respectable film background, mother, Tanuja, being a popular Bollywood yesteryear actress and father, Somu Mukherjee, a film producer. Apart from this, the great Indian Actress, Nutan, is her maternal aunt. Kajol’s maternal grandmother, Shobhna Samarth and great grandmother Rattan Bai were also in Indian cinema.. Kajol’s paternal uncles, Joy Mukherjee and Deb Mukherjee were film producers and paternal grandfather, Sashadhar Mukherjee, was a filmmaker and his wife Satirani Devi, Kajol's paternal grandmother, was the sister of three famous film personalities, Ashok Kumar, Anoop Kumar and Kishore Kumar. With a rich film background, Kajol entered Bollywood industry in 1992 with Bekhudi. Kajol had seen lot of hits in her career as a best heroine and won number of national awards for her performance.
