Karishma Kapoor’s sister is Kareena Kapoor, who is also the well-known actress of Bollywood. Karishma Kapoor came from a rich film background, father, Mr. Randhir, being an actor of Indian Cinema and mother, Mrs. Babitha, yesteryear actress. Apart from this, Kareena Kapoor’s paternal great-grandfather, Prithviraj Kapoor; her grandfather, Raj Kapoor; her paternal uncles, Shammi, Shashi, Rishi, and Rajiv; as well as aunt, Neetu Singh, & Jennifer Kendall, the wives of Rishi and Shashi respectively. On her maternal side, her grandfather, Hari Shivdasani, and aunt, Sadhana, was actors/actresses during 1950-90. Karisma studied in the Cathedral and John Cannon School in Bombay until the sixth standard.
